Nourishing Connections is the Denver chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, a non-profit charity whose mission is to educate people about nutrient-dense food, connect consumers with local farms that produce this food, and support the right to farm, alternative healing arts, and food/farm activism. Every few years we sponsor a Western WAPF conference, with Sally Fallon Morell as the keynote speaker.
Our chapter meets every other month on the 4th Saturday (see our website for schedule), with a mouth-watering potluck lunch, great speakers, and demonstrations about how to prepare food for optimum nutrition. We also sell books, coconut oil and other hard-to-find products at a discount. Often we invite farmers to speak and/or sell their products and chat. Membership not required, no dues allowed.
We also support Eat Local Colorado, a farm to consumer food co-op. Food, Fun and Fellowship - come join us!
Food, Fun and Fellowship - Nourishing Connections invites you to join us for a potluck lunch and learn about local food from small farms. Get to know your farmers, and share tips with your community. All volunteer organization. Solicitors discouraged.
