O-Wata-Farm! just outside Owatonna in southern Minnesota is a 10-acre farm settled by the Felland family. The farms 3 acres of pasture and a pond settled among woodland acres is home to a diverse plant and animal population.
O-Wata-Farm! was established under the practice of sustainable agricultural methods that protect our land and environment for future generations. We do not use herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers and we care about how animals raised for food are treated.
We raise pastured/free range layer hens who are fed certified organic feed. We have many heritage breeds including Araucana's (which lay blue/green eggs), Silver Gray Dorkings, Rhode Island Reds, Lakenfelder's, Ancona's, Minorca's, and also Gold Stars.
