The OLD TIME FARMERS MARKET located at EAST 49TH STREET, TEXARKANA, ARKANSAS will begin its 2011 season with a Saturday only opening through the month of May beginning Saturday, May 7th. The market will be open from 7:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. or until sold out. Same reliable vendors plus some new ones.
GRAND OPENING SATURDAY, JUNE 4, 2011, 7:00 A.M.
We will have a good variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, berries, and melons (later in the season), as well as fresh eggs, honey, fresh ground corn meal, fresh baked goods, home canned jellies, jams and pickles, fresh herbs, fresh cut flowers, plants, sod plus a lot more in season as each week brings new variety.
We will have an added attraction this year with our smoked brisket and pulled pork that will be available in sandwishes or by the pound.
We are a grower only, source varified market so all produce must be grown by the vendor/grower selling the produce and must be grown within 75 miles of Texarkana. When you shop at the OLD TIME FARMERS MARKET you meet the grower/producer face to face.
Located on East 49th Street, Texarkana, Arkansas, the OLD TIME FARMERS MARKET can be easiely accessed from State Line Avenue, Realtor Road, County Avenue or Laurel Street.
The OLD TIME FARMERS MARKET will be open every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday morning from 7 a.m. to noon (or until we sell out of produce!) from June 4th through October. November through the beginning of the spring season the market will be open on Saturday morning as produce is available.
