Old Webster Farm sits on 117 acres of sandly loam in the town of Angelo, WI. The farm has been in my family since 1947 when my grandparents moved here from their farm in Wilton, WI. My family and I returned to the area in late 2004 to put one acre into uncertified organic vegetable production, with hopes of expanding to 2 or 3 acres in the future. We are currently certified organic on 2 acres.
We like to live in harmony with our surroundings, avoiding plastic mulches and concentrating on growing open-pollinated or heirloom varieties of vegetables. Our specialties include a kaleidoscope of heirloom tomatoes, rare garlics and a wide variety of onions.
This season, our produce can be found in several restaurants in Madison, Winona and LaCrosse, as well as a couple of food co-ops. We will also sell off the farm, pretty informally. Just give us a call.
