Oleo Acres is an organic farm practicing sustainable agriculture. We not only sell fresh heirloom produce but also give tours and educational workshops to teach others to "Go Green the Old Fashioned Way." Our primary crop is some of the oldest heirloom sorghums to be found anywhere that we cook into syrup here on the farm. All produce here is seasonal but farm tours and workshops are ongoing throughout the year.
Come out to Oleo Acres for a visit and learn how to help Mother Earth heal from years of abuse.
We are a family farm and are here most of the time unless we are out hauling hay or something.
Best to schedule an appointment via email or phone first.
Our hours are from 8 am to 6 pm but we are always here if you need something.
Since we do not use irrigation here to protect ground water supplies, it is best to call or write for availability of produce. Sorghum syrups start being made late August. All other produce is seasonal.
