Orange Mint ~ the ultimate refreshing herb! Easy to grow, perennial.
Your order is protected with the LocalHarvest money back guarantee.
Orange Mint has been described having a taste like candied orange peel with lavender tones. Wonderfully refreshing!
And you'll find so many uses for this gourmet mint -- crush fresh leaves into water or juice for a refreshing beverage, or add to iced tea. You can also use fresh leaves in salads or to make mint sauce or jelly. Or, dry the leaves as an herb for flavoring dishes or for a calming, delicious tea.
Mint is also extremely easy to grow. Plant it spring through early fall to establish a bed. Water well at first. It prefers partial shade, and will do best in loamy soils with plenty of organic matter, but it can flourish in full sun to mostly shade, and can tolerate poorer soils. It's a hardy perennial and will spread if you let it.
NOTE: We will ship in the Spring as early as we have plants available, to warmer locations, then May through early Fall to cooler regions. You can start mint patches in the summer, but be aware that you will need to water copiously!
