(Origanum sp. LAMIACEAE)
A showy form of oregano from our ethnic Russian collection. Like other members of our Russian collection, the flowers have a pleasing range of colors. Plants first form a low growing mat about 3" high, later growing taller and then sending up a large number of flowering stalks (24" tall) with showy pink-lavender flowers and occasional white and lavender flowers. Naturalizes readily. Nice border plant for low borders, and an excellent ground cover that competes well with weeds.

Garden Medicinals offers over 220 varieties of medicinal and culinary herb seeds, roots, potato onions, specialty garlic varieties, and select heirloom vegetable and ethnic flower seed. All seeds are non-gmo, open-pollinated and untreated. Most seeds are naturally grown and a few are certified organic. Our vegetable seeds do especially well in hot, humid climates where vegetable production can be difficult. Our herb selection also includes dormant root stock of ginger, ginseng, goldenseal, black cohosh, false unicorn, and wild yam.
