Straight from the Artisan Distiller to you. This hydrosol is distilled on our farm from the leaves of Organic Rose Geranium grown in our gardens. It has a fabulous roselike scent, very pleasant! A must for the hydrosol novice. Has a calming effect on stress. It makes a wonderful facial toner and after shower spritz.
Please do not confuse misters (water with added essential oils) with True Hydrosols ( also called Floral Waters, Herbal Waters or Hydrolates) .A True Hydrosol comes ONLY from the distillation process and carries minute particles of essential oil (in suspension) and the hydrophillic (water-loving) properties of the plant.
Hydrosols can be sprayed directly on the skin for relief or you may add to bath or soak a cloth for use as a compress.
Please keep your refill bottles of hydrosol in a cool dark place.They have no preservatives and therefore should be used within a year of distillation.
All of our products are Artisan Crafted right here on our farm. We use our own certified organic herbs or ones that we contract locally from other certified growers. We distill our own essential oils and hydrosols on our lovely Copper Alembic stills.
