This box contains assorted sizes, large to small of this style, a softneck, heirloom garlic, also known as "Polish White." The actual type of garlic is called "Artichoke." This is a new variety for us this 2009-2010 season, and so far we are impressed with the taste and quality. It has a little hotter flavor than our Porcelain Garlic. Since this is a new variety for us, please let us know how much you enjoy it. So far in our own taste tests, our family likes it very much.
Photo: This photo shows one pound of our softneck garlic. (Notice the beautiful purple wrappers on some of them).
To Store: Keep cool, dry & dark for longest storage (Not in the fridge)!!!
Note: If the price seems high, think again. This is American grown garlic, not an import (Did you know that the majority of all garlic sold in this country is grown in China? Yes, even the "organic" ones). This is a fair price for a small family farmer to grow, clean, pack and ship a good, healthy product and earn a little money at the same time. By supporting small American family farms like ours, you are helping to keep agriculture alive in this country. THANK YOU for your support and patronage.
