Our Tiny Farm

'Our Tiny Farm' is a small family farm in Etowah, NC (near Hendersonville). The farmers are two professional horticulturists who for many years have advised others on how to grow food organically and make a living off the land.

We have grown wholesome food for our family on this farm for over ten years, but now we are trying to "live what we preach" and generate at least part of our income from our own farm. We get fresh eggs from our pastured chickens (in a chicken tractor), pasture raise Black Angus for great tasting beef, and keep bees for honey. We grow all kinds of vegetables and herbs and a few canefruits. We also board horses and have a donkey.

For the most part, we follow the National Organic Program practices and use only approved products for our fruits and vegetables. Bec (more...)
