In 2004, we decided to find a use for all those dozens of eggs the hens were laying and began selling our products at Market. What started with eggs ended up in a whole new venture...Artisan Breads and Gourmet Salsa
Our wonderful, made from all natural and organic (when possible) Artisan Breads are hand made the night before Market and baked in a stone lined oven. We make several varieties including: Spinach, tomato and Asiago Cheese foccacia, Sun-dried Tomato and Parmesan, Fresh Basil and White Cheddar, Double Garlic Potato, Pesto Pinenut, 7-Grain Whole Wheat Baguette, Herb Encrusted French Bread, and of course the awesome Artichoke and Goat Cheese bread made from our own homemade Chevre.
Have you had the privilege of trying the most incredible salsa on Earth? As many would say, with rave reviews, our Mango Salsa is to die for! Olmsted County Fair rated it a Blue Ribbon winner in 2007. Made in four heat potencies to please every palette, our Mango Salsa is made from fresh Roma tomatoes along with fresh yellow and orange peppers, jalapenos, and onions all grown here on the farm. Besides enjoying with your favorite corn chip, this salsa is excellent with fish, chicken and we've even had it over pork chops!
Our Roasted Tomato Salsa is made from a combination of fire roasted Roma tomatoes, onions and jalapenos, and mixed with fresh Roma tomatoes, fresh cilantro and lime juice. Also available in four levels of heat: mild, medium, hot, and super hot (with habaneros) for the adventuresome. Our next amazing sauce is our Mediterranean Bruschetta. Made from our home grown tomatoes, red & green onions, fresh basil and crushed garlic, we also throw in some black olives for a tasty concoction that goes well with almost all our breads! Just thinly slice the bread and toast. Pour a little on top along with some parmesan or Mozzarella cheese and you have the perfect party appetizer or snack. Try it on pasta too, I hear from our customers it is incredible!
We also have available farm fresh eggs from healthy, happy, blue ribbon winning, free-range chickens! And fresh, raw goats milk from the best goats in the world!
