Ozark Natural Gardens is situated in the Ozark Foothills surrounded by oak, hickory, and maple forests. Our rows of vegetables are interwoven amongst flower gardens, herb gardens, restored glades, meandering creeks, and children's toys. What we do would best be described as market gardening. We do not own a large farm, we have no tractor, we don't have pasture or cattle, and we don't have a single employee. We have devoted roughtly one acre to the sustainable production of high quality fruits and vegetables. As a family we integrate what we know about agroecology, sustainable food production, healthy eating, joyful work, and fun to provide for ourselves and to bring you the highest quality produce available without the use of a single piece of large machinery, pesticide, herbicide, synthtic fertilizer, or farm subsidy.
We are sorry to announce that we will not be attending markets in 2008. We have temporarily re-located to Madison, WI where Vincent is pursuing a Ph.D. in food systems and agroecology. Thank you all for your support. We look forward to the rebirth of Ozark Natural Gardens in the future.
