70 - 75 days, OP. A hardy sweet corn suitable for the north and early harvests elsewhere. Has excellent cold soil emergence and is ready to eat in 70 to 75 days. The color at the fresh stage is mostly white with light pastels in pink, yellow, blue, and orange. When dry the colors are varied and vivid. Like all open polinated sweet corns, it passes from sweet and tender to starchy and tough quickly, so harvest and eat daily. The ears are varied in size. If you are a super sweet hybrid corn fan, this is not the corn for you. But, if you want a hardy sweet corn with old fashioned flavor that you can save seed from and also use for fall decorating, you will love this variety! A new development by Alan Kapular made by crossing Painted Mountain with Luther Hill. Germinated at 95%.
