Paradocx Vineyard, Winery & Tasting Room

Paradocx Vineyard, nestled among the rolling hills of southern Chester County, Pennsylvania, combines current technology and handcrafted secrets to create unique wines, made from homegrown grapes, and from those of only selected custom growers.

Moderating influences of the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays and the southern sloping mica soils afford Paradocx a unique mesoclimate in the region. This mesoclimate, coupled with state-of-the-art viticulture practices, create a winning combination for this 5,000 case winery. The owners and management of Paradocx Vineyard, who share a fervent passion for winemaking, adhere to the principle that winemaking begins with success in the vineyard.

With more than 100 acres of land, 30 of which are under vine, Paradocxs home vineyard in Landenberg, Pennsylvania offers an array of grapes for head winemaker Dave Hoffman to choose from, including 27 acres of Vinifera vines and 3 acres of Chambourcin and Vidal vines. By providing only the finest grapes that our site has to offer, we are able to afford our winemaker with the best possible start for a quality wine in the bottle.

A CSA is a system in which community members purchase a Traditional "share" at the beginning of a growing season, when the farmer needs start-up capital for equipment, seeds, etc. In return, the member receives an annual supply (2 cases) of estate made Paradocx wine to be picked up four times per year, and other added bonuses, like free admission to our summer concert series, access to vintner's wines not yet available for public purchase and free wine tastings (see below for all member benefits). The cost per share for Paradocx Vineyard wine CSA shares varies from $550-650 based on the type of "shares" you choose (whites share, reds share, or vintners share), or about $45 per month for an annual supply of wine. If all of the wines and member benefits were purchased separately, the total cost would be $800.

A Farm CSA is a system in which community members purchase a farm "share" at the beginning of a growing season, when the farmer needs start-up capital for equipment, seeds, etc. In return, the member receives an annual supply (6 bottles or 3-3.5 liters cans) of estate made Paradocx wine to be picked up three times: June, July and August at Partnering CSAs. The cost for Paradocx Vineyard Farm CSA wine share $99.00 for your choice of a white share or red share.
