Paris Market Carrots are all the name implies ~ a gourmet carrot to please even the most discriminating tastes!
Beautiful red-orange carrots are short and round, with a sweet flavor. These are very popular with our gourmet chefs, and fly off the table at Farmers Market.
We especially love this carrot because it grows so well in our heavy clay-based soils here in southern Indiana. Given its shape, it can thrive in shallow or tough soil. We like to grow it in containers for ease of harvesting.
Sow near the surface 2-3 weeks before last frost, and then plant every few weeks until a month before fall frost. Matures in about 60 days.
Our garden seeds, yarns, and nuts make perfect gifts in synergy with our shared goals of environmental protection, sustainability, and food security.
Consider our wide range of heirloom vegetable, herb, and flower seeds as holiday gifts this year ~ grow your own and promote genetic diversity!
