Pasture Nectar Farm is located in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. Our primary product is grass. Our grass gets harvested by some lucky cows and chickens, and they turn it into lots of delectable things - the nectar: milk, cream, eggs, meat.
All of our animals receive organic feed when available. When it is not available, it is at least non-GMO.
Our Shorthorn/Fleckvieh cows produce excellent meat, milk and cream for your family. They eat fresh grass and clover from our rotated chemical-free pastures during the growing season, and hay in the winter. We never use steroids, hormones,or animal by-products. The milk cows get a special non-GMO ration mixed just for them to produce the best quality milk. Our meat animals get no grain for your health and theirs.
Raw milk is sold in half-gallon glass containers. You are welcome to visit our squeaky-clean dairy parlor anytime. You can pick up the milk at the farm or join one of our delivery groups.
We hold an alternative view about grass-fed beef processing. For healthier meat, we try to butcher during cold weather and only hang the meat for about 3 days. This provides meat low in dead-flesh proteins which is good for all of us, but especially those with compromised immune systems, like cancer patients. .
Our free-range, out-on-the-pasture hens turn our grass and bugs into delicious, omega-3 eggs.
All of our meats are processed in a USDA-inspected facility run by a local family. You can buy from us at the farm by the piece, or contact us to arrange for a bulk buy.
You will be amazed at the taste of good clean food the way God designed it. We look forward to meeting you and providing food for your family. We love to give farm tours; please come out and see us!
