We raise our broiler chickens in the open air, free ranging during the day, and protected during the nights inside a movable pen in the pasture. Feed only natural foods, grass, grains, soybean protein, and garden scraps....and all the bugs they can catch.
Because our chickens get as much exercise as they like, their musle tone is excellent and abundant. The texture is firm, but tender, juicy without being watery like store and restaurant chicken.
To make it easier to prepare for our growing season, we would love it our customers would drop us an email or phone us with the amount of chickens they would like to purchase, and when they would like them to be ready. Otherwise, all sales are first come, first serve.
We will call local customers 2-3 days before processing so they can plan on stopping by for their fresh chickens. Or if they can't make it within a couple of days, we will be happy to freeze them and they can stop by at their convenience.
Ohio sales only
We are a small family farm in Licking County Ohio. We raise grass fed meats and eggs, as well as limited produce in season. We have the meats processed at a local Ohio Dept of Agriculture licensed facility, and can only sell/ship within the state of Ohio.
