2011's fresh Thanksgiving Turkeys will be available November 21st & 22nd (Monday & Tuesday of Thanksgiving week). They will easily stay FRESH and good until Thanksgiving if kept in a cooler and covered with lots of ice. Please plan ahead, as we do not raise fresh turkeys for Christmas.
Our turkeys are raised in bottomless pens which are moved daily to fresh grass.
The pens protect the chickens from predators and inclement weather while still allowing the birds access to fresh grass and bugs.
We only keep a few birds per pen and they get lots of fresh country air and sunshine.
These are "melt-in-your-mouth" good! This is what turkey is supposed to taste like!
When you come to get your turkeys, please be sure to bring a cooler and some ice to keep your meat properly chilled.
