Patchwork Gardens

Patchwork Gardens is a small, young farm located on route 35, just west of Dayton, Ohio. We grow our vegetables the old-fashioned way, with no chemical sprays or fertilizers -- with manure and hard work!

During the Spring, Summer, and Fall, we grow a large variety of garden vegetables. We love greens. You'll certainly find kales, mustards and lettuces, broccoli raab, tatsoi, chard, arugula, spinach, cabbage, and probably more. Besides greens, there are beets, carrots, turnips, radishes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, garlic, leeks, onions, tomatoes, peppers, Summer and Winter squash, eggplants -- whatever we can plant! As perrenials come to fruit, we harvest strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, asparagus, apples, and pears. In the Winter, we are able to grow cold hardy greens inside our several greenhouses.

Give us a call or come check us out. We are happy to provide farm tours and we are looking for paid interns for this year.

Patchwork Gardens grows chemical-free vegetables and has raised pastured pigs for our own use. No chemical fertilizers or pesticides, just hard work and good food. We are working towards growing nutrient-dense produce using biological agricultural practices.

I've been a CSA member for 2 years now, and I couldn't be more satisfied. George and the gang continue to deliver fresh, delicious produce each week!

Every once in a while I'll even drop by the farm to help pick veggies on a Sunday afternoon.... [more]

I've been a Patchwork Gardens customer for 2 years, and I'm very satisfied with the experience. I could probably save a few bucks shopping at a big box store, but I find the local, fresh, better-than-organic produce I get from Patchwork Gardens is more than worth it.... [more]
