Along one of America's most scenic roads, you will find Peaceful Heart Alpacas. Our 27 acre alpaca farm is located at Mile Post 204 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, just a few miles from the Virginia/North Carolina border and easily accessible from I-77 and Hwy 52. We feel blessed every day to wake up to pastures full of beautiful alpacas and a fiber arts studio and store located in our 100 year old farm house. We are a three generation, family farm, and welcome visitors, free of charge, year round. Our winter hours are Fri-Sat 10am-5pm and Sunday 1-5pm. Mon-Thurs we are open by appointment. Alpacas are a gentle animal in spirit and in their impact on the environment. An incredibly colorful fiber producer, alpacas come in 22 different color groups with a wide range of shades within these groups.
