Peacemeal Organic Gardens, a project of the Dominican Earth Center and the Sisters of St. Catharine, Kentucky provides fresh local organic produce, flowers and herbs to both the sisters of our community and to the surrounding community of Springfiled, Bardstown and Lebanon, Kentucky. We operate a roadside stand starting May 8 which offers the opportunity to take in the gardens, our award wining children's garden, as well as the historic 700+ acres making up St. Catharine established in 1822. We are also in the process of creating the Eating Edge Food Buying Club here in central Kentucky. We purchase bulk foods from a larger distibuter out of PA. They carry a line of whole foods, organic foods and other various natural products. (more...)
