70 days. [Ethnic variety from Hungary where the paprika pepper has been developed to its finest quality] This strain has excellent color and a sweet, spicy flavor. Plants average 18" high, producing an abundance of peppers averaging 1' x 5'. Though the fruit has some sensitivity to sunscald, it is otherwise an excellent variety. Ripens from green to red. The sweet, very dry flesh is ideal for drying. Grind the dried fruits for a superb paprika seasoning.
