Diversity is the name of the game at Perry-winkle Farm. A wide variety of crops provide us with marketing opportunities through out 3 seasons: spring, summer and fall. We have been farming organically for nineteen years, for eight of those years we were certified by the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association. Local farmers' markets are our main outlet for sales, and we design our cropping systems to meet the demands of "going to market" three days a week. We also work closely with a couple of restaurants in town, growing particular crops for their chefs.

We start with lettuce, salad greens, broccoli, and over-wintered flowers. Summer harvests include peppers, potatoes, beans, squash, cucumbers and lots of annual cutflowers. The fall season features another round of cool-weather crops.
