Herbs are prepared in an organic apple cider vinegar menstruum for safe application and can be applied as 3 times per day or as needed as a direct application via use of a cotton swab.
If pet will not sit still for a direct applicationstill enough for you to apply directly to the gums with a cotton swab, you can use a turkey baster as a quick mouth rinse - put 20 drops of the tincture in about 2ounces of water and swish it through the teeth. You can also add twenty drops of the tincture to water and and give that daily but direct oral application with the cotton swab will be the best.
