85 days. OP. This hot pepper is named after the body part it resembles. Not for the timid in more ways than one, this pepper is hot, hot, hot! The plants get large and are quite productive, though rather late. Fun to grow, embarrassing to sell, always a conversation starter or ender, depending upon your leanings. Also happens to be a terrific hot pepper, especially good for drying and grinding into hot pepper flakes or powder.
Our plants are sustainably raised in our own potting mix. We use only organic fertilizers and sprays if needed. We have been growing and selling plants since 1997.
Our pepper plants are shipped in individual 3" deep pots. They are generally 3 to 4" tall when we ship them.
We package our plants with extreme care so they arrive undamaged at your doorstep. Each plant is tucked into its own padded sleeve. The soil in each pot is covered so it will not spill out. A plant tag identifying the variety is included with each plant.
We ship every Monday and Tuesday, from late March into June, according to your location or your request.
We currently ship to every state except Hawaii and Alaska.
We will start accepting orders for 2015 around January 10, and start shipping plants in late March.
Within 24 hours of receiving your order, we will e-mail you with a shipping date that we choose based on your last frost date. You are welcome to change the date to any other shipping week. Just respond to the e-mail and tell us when you want your plants.
We are licensed by the State of Missouri Department of Agriculture to sell plants, license #1931.
