Phat Beets Produce

Phat Beets Produce is a food justice collective that started in North Oakland in 2007 as a guerrilla produce stand in a North Oakland park. We now support two certified, clinic-based farmers' markets, a CSA program, one youth-led school farm stand and community nutrition hub, and a youth market garden, in partnership with a local hospital obesity prevention program.

As a collective, we strive to support socially just businesses, small farmers, and farmers of color. All of the farmers we source from are either certified organic or no-spray/pesticide free. For every CSA share sold, a $2 voucher is created for low-income residents to spend on fresh organic produce from our farmers' markets!
