Pilsen Community Market is sponsored by the Chicago Community Bank, and located at 18th & South Halsted. The Market was organized by residents in Pilsen, a multi-cultural Chicago neighborhood. The Market was designed to bring local fresh farm produce, farm products, related services and educational events to the area. For example, we discovered that one person in our neighborhood had bee hives and provided Carpenter Street Beeyard - Pilsen honey. Local restaurants sell morning breakfast and coffee for visitors.

Our residents have responded to all that a market brings to a community and the city. Fresh flowers, organic baked goods, fresh fruit, vegetables, healthy food. Sweet handmade treats, artisans, fresh flowers, morning hot coffee and iced drinks in the summer. This is our third season, and is Opening June 13-October 24th, rain or shine - every Sunday 9-3PM.

Pilsen Market invites musicians and most Sundays we have local performers. We often have events for children and services for the residents, such as free medical screening.

Last year, we donated to local programs in the neighborhood after the end of the season. We offer free booth space for non profits, and service organizations.
