Pine View Yarn

Pine View Yarns was created in 1986 under a different name but it is still the same mother-daughter team today as it was back then that loves to spin and create with wool and other fibers. They are Barb and Carolee Couture on the Owens Farm in New Hartford. Many years have passed and the sheep are now still on the Owens Farm but just down the road. It all started with Corriedale sheep but now has branched out to Polled Dorset and Tunis sheep. We enjoy spinning other exotic fibers as well but always come back to the soft wool of their own sheep. We spin our skeins in either a 3.5 to 4.0 ounce skein in a fine two-ply yarn or a thick chunky single ply. We do not use any chemicals when washing our wool. Dying the wool is fun but we like to leave the wool its natural color. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us!:) Thank you.....
