Freezer lamb (LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY): These are spring crossbred lambs. Meat is very mild and tender. Our lambs are treated humanely, and are raised on pasture and not given hormones or routine antibiotics.
Lamb will be ready beginning in early October. Buyer pays $1.85 per pound for live weight of lamb, which is approximately 65-85 lbs, and processing costs (which typically is less than $70, depending on how meat is cut). A typical lamb will dress at 1/2 the live weight.
