The Planted Palette is one of the newest organic garden centers in west central Illinois. We offer a range of the best and most useful gardening supplies and plants from around the world.

You can rest assured that you will not find toxic chemical products for sale here at the Planted Palette. While we can appreciate that everyone has the right to choose which products they use, we are choosing NOT to use or sell any chemicals. Our hope is to lead the way towards safer natural gardening.

All of the products that we sell are items that we use ourselves, so if you have any questions or need help in making decisions between any of our products, please feel free to contact us for advice. (more...)

Have you ever felt you weren't creative or artistic? That others can create a picture that tells a story and you can't? Well, if you are a gardener then you should never feel that way again!

For you are a garden artist!

As gardeners we do not use paint for our masterpieces, we use plants! Instead of a brush, we use a shovel!

The Palette was started because the owner, a passionate home gardener who had trouble finding unusual chemical free plants, found nothing but frustration. Join us!
