Here at Pleasant Valley Acres we are reorganizing a lot of our operation to bring it into compliance with the Organic Standards of Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners (MOFGA) Certification and plan to be fully certified in 2011. The farm distributes most of our produce through our 50 member CSA. We are members of the Cumberland Farmers Market Association and will attend 2 of their locations for the 2011 season. We also have 85 shares with the Maine Senior Farmshare program, a program of the Maine Department of Agriculture where eligible seniors receive $50.00 worth of fresh produce during the growing season. We have about 3 acres in intensive gardening for our fruit and vegetable production, about 8 acres in pasture,10 acres in hay fields and 40 acres of timber land. We (more...)

At the farm 69 Pleasant Valley Road, Cumberland, ME
Tuesday through Saturday 12 Noon to 6pm.

  • Pleasant Valley Acres offers 36 varieties of fruits and vegetables, maple syrup, beef, and goat meat through our CSA and at the Cumberland Farmers Market. We use organic methods but are not presently certified. We are planning to be certified in 2011and are working toward that goal. In 2011 we will be starting our wholesale production of various crops.
