Potrero Nuevo Farm hopes to enrich peoples' understanding of food production and the natural world. We are committed to sustainable agriculture and fair accessibility to food, environmental education and ecological land management.

Utilizing a 300-acre farm and wilderness property, we operate a farm dedicated to providing food grown in accordance with organic principles. Most of our food is donated to local social service agencies and churches and we sell a small portion to a closed group of members who harvest what they need for the week. Environmental education programs are offered to all populations with an emphasis on bringing low-income disadvantaged urban youth to the property to learn about food production and healthy eating and the natural world.< (more...)
