Prairie Fields Farm is a family-run operation located about 25 miles south of Columbus. We are located along the Big Darby Creek on 200+ acres that have been in our family for generations. At Prairie Fields Farm we work very hard to produce high quality products using natural, sustainable, and environmentally friendly practices. Our farm has undergone some major changes this past year as we've decided to focus on heritage livestock breed conservation. We are a fiber farm with Lincoln Longwool sheep and Angora goats. Lincolns are an at-risk breed of sheep. We also keep honeybees, grow many herbals, as well as a diverse range of flowers. We also offer homemade, handcrafted soaps, salves, balms, and herbal oils. We make these with botanicals, honey, and beeswax from right here on the farm. We have added an assortment of dried herbals and herbal teas to our line-up as well! Feel free to contact us to learn more!
We are very proud to offer hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns, Lincoln Longwool and mohair fleece, handmade soaps, herbal salves and balms, herbal oils for healing intent, hand-blended herbal teas, fresh and dried flowers, as well as hand-made baskets. All our products are raised and produced working hand-in-hand with Mother Nature. Natural, sustainable, and environmentally sound. These are the principals with which we run our farm and hope to pass down to our children.
