Prairieland Community Supported Agriculture is a not for profit organization that matches consumers with local sustainable farmers. Since 2003, we have worked with the Moore Family of Moore Family Farm in Watseka, IL. The Moores raise produce and a variety of livestock in permaculture-type rotations on their nearly 100 year-old family farm. They deliver produce to one point in Urbana and one point in Champaign during the 33-week growing season which starts in early April. Shares also may be picked up at the farm by Watseka area residents. Shares may be purchased online from our website using the url above. Online payment options also are available. Note: due to rising fuel prices, we cannot add suburban/metro Chicago pickups on Wednesdays, however, the Moores do sell at the Frankfort, IL farmers market on Sundays and several buying clubs purchase from the farm.
