This is a public cannery. Bring your vegetables and produce and can them here - this will extend your season by having fresh (canned) produce all year round. The Cannery also offers processing equipment for meats. The cannery is open during morning hours, most weekdays, from May through September, with alternate hours the rest of the year. Call ahead to confirm the schedule. Recent upgrades to the cannery now permit the processing of foods into bi-metal cans or glass jars. Also, now registered as a Food Canning Establishment and inspected as a commercial kitchen, the certified food entrepreneur can process foods here to sell to restaurants, grocers, and distributors.
