We provide our animals with grain and hay year round so they receive the nutrients their bodies require. Our goats eat unwanted vegetation and only eat grain during the winter. We do not believe that in the geographical area of Southern Maryland that we are in a climate that can sustain meat animals to be on pasture year round without grain.
