Vigorous, compact plants produce an abundance of 3" fruits that start out green, then turn a deep purple and finally turn red at maturity. The fruits are deep purple for a very long period making the harvest extended. The plants have beautiful, delicate white and purple flowers that brighten up any garden. The plant is truly beautiful with purple fruits and white/purple flowers on deep green stems and leaves. Fruits are a bit larger than regular Jalapeno and have about the same amount of heat. Great tasting in many dishes! They are great for roasting, pickling, using in cooking and eating fresh. They really look nice pickled with a variety of other colored Jalapenos! Many Latin recipes call for this great Jalapeno variety!

All of the seeds we sell have been home grown on our small family farm. Seeds are only harvested from the best plants and varieties are either field isolated, caged, or hand pollinated depending on vegetable type to prevent cross pollination. Tomato seeds are processed using fermentation to insure healthy, viable seeds. Our seeds are hand counted and packaged in resealable plastic envelopes and are professionally labeled.
