We have had this one for years. I know it's a hardneck, and I know it's a purple stripe, just don't remember the exact sub variety name. It is still a very nice garlic for the home gardener looking for flavor and reliability. Medium to hot and a good keeper, on the farm we use what's left over and this is the one my family eats almost exclusively. Now we have more than we need, it's time to sell.
