Attractively packaged in a convenient reusable flip-top glass jar or handy little metal tin, this is a super-fine healing and soothing salve suitable for a variety of uses.
We originally crafted this all natural Salve for our horses, but we ended up using it on ourselves more often than on the horses. We gave away samples to our friends and neighbors, who apparently also use it on themselves because it's become very popular, as has our LIP BALM .
Over the years we've had occasion to use this salve on small children as well as our cats and dogs. No problem if they lick it, and the healing results have been excellent.
Each reusable glass jar and metal tin is hand poured in small batches, so there will be small variances in color and texture.
Ingredients:
Calendula, comfrey, lavender, chamomile, plantain,
yarrow, sage, olive oil and pure beeswax.
Suggested Application:
May be useful in the treatment of most skin ailments, rashes, swellings, minor wounds, cracked or chapped skin.

Our community is in a remote area along the Columbia River where most of the property is 20 natural acres or more and all of the producers are small family operations (except one large cattle rancher that doesn't sell to us, but DOES shop with us!).
Most of us qualify to become Certified Organic, and a few sell enough products outside the area to be able to actually afford the annual fees. There IS a difference in the quality of life for those who have been long time organic growers!
