Quiet Waters Farm is a multi-fauceted agricultural venture. For 20 years we've farmed in Nebraska and now we are moving our operation to the Maryville, Missouri area. We will be beginning our "Natural" certification this year. Our CSA will serve a maximum of 20 families so sign up early.

Our dairy consists of Jersey cows that are breed for eating grass. We feed little to no grains but do feed naturally grown alfalfa daily and grass hay in the winter. We are on a natural clock giving the cows 2 months of rest in the winter. Meatmasters is the registered trade name for our grass-fed meat production of beef, lamb, and poultry. We also have free-range laying hens whose feed we hope to find organically grown within our 100 mile localvore range. (more...)
