We milk a herd of 40 dairy goats and make aged raw milk farmstead cheese sold through specialty food stores and restaurants as Quillisascut Cheese Company.
The Quillisascut Farm; School of the Domestic Arts offers a range of on farm workshops for people interested in learning more about farming, Introduction to Small Acreage Sustainable Farming, Urban Gardening and Farmsteads, and Professional development for Culinary Students and Professionals to learn more about farm and food production and an agrarian value system. Family and Parent and Child weekends, Sense of Place, heirloom gardens, cheese making, food processing, lacto fermented foods are all offered in or workshops. Our Rethinking the Kitchen Handbook: The Sustainable Kitchen Handbook, Simple things you can do to ensure a more sustainable food future is available on our website and coming out in October 2008 the book "Chefs on the Farm: Recipes and Inspiration from the Quillisascut Farm School of the Domestic Arts".
