Rail N Ranch

We are a small family operated farm with a focus on creating sustainability in the Sonoran Desert. Our primary focus is raising and breeding quality Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. Our breeding goals focus on milk production, in order to provide excellent little family milkers that even the kids can handle. Nigerian Dwarf goats fit in perfectly with family farm steading and self sustainability. Nigerians use less feed than the full sized goats, and provide a reliable source of milk . Nigerians can be bred YEAR ROUND, making it easy to have a continous milk supply for milk, yogurt, and cheese. We raise our goats without anti-biotics, chemicals, or poor quality commercial feed. We use herbal wormers, use minimal vaccinations, and allow our goat mamas to raise their own babies. We also share in the baby raising, and our babies go to their new homes as tame as the family dog!

A great by product of our goats is compost material. At certain times of the year, we have large amounts of compost material for a minimal charge.

We are in the process of having specialty herbs and veggies available for a small share program. Please check our website for future offerings.
