The Rainey Family began its farming operations after my grandfather Julius got out of the navy at the end of WWII. The family milked cows for many years along with growing all the feed for the livestock. In 1999 we changed from milking cows to fattening cattle and our market focus was offering a quality product at a fair price. Our customers demanded that our beef was NOT fed steroids, anitibiotics, or artificial hormones.
Our beef cattle are fed the right combination of Corn, Soybeans (For Protein), Minerals, and free choice of hay to give the Natural Marbled beef.
Today our beef is offered locally at the South Haven Farmers Market on Saturday's and by order by calling our office.
