Rainshine Family Farm

Rainshine is owned and operated by Rachel Ashley and Elias Silvernail. We have been growing vegetables for our Corvallis community for 7 years. This season is the most exciting yet. Since 2008, we have been leasing land located in South Town Corvallis, which could not have been a more supportive place to start our farm. We are now happy to say that last July we bought our own farm! We are taking a "working sabbatical" for the 2015 growing season, to set-up needed infrastructure and move our entire farming operation. We are 19 miles NW of Corvallis, and look forward to still serving our Corvallis community with vital food.

We specialize in seasonal vegetables for our 27 week CSA. We emphasize quality and freshness and do the majority of our harvesting the day it is for sale. Our farm stand, located on at the end of Alexander Ave, 1 block east of Crystal Lake Drive, in South Town Corvallis, where vegetables, seasonal fruit, and local bread and eggs willbe for sale. .

Rainshine strives to grow healthy, vibrant food, so we never use synthetic or chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. We instead incorporate a plant positive approach, compost, great non-GMO seed, and applying attentive soil testing/balancing to create biological diversity and ecological integrity in our field.

Look for us in 2016! Visit our website rainshinefamilyfarm.com to get on our mailing list.
