Our bees forage among the woods and fields of Northwest Ohio and produce a wonderful, mild honey. Each year differs slightly, but depending on the weather, they may forage amongst local fruit trees, wild roses and raspberries, black locust, honey locust, clover, alfalfa, and numerous other trees and wildflowers that grow in the woodlands near our hives.
We take great pains to assure that our raw honey is of the highest quality without heat or pasturization. Our honey will eventually crystallize over time, but this is a sign of purity. It may be reliquified by placing the jar on a pan of warm (not boiling) water until it is reliquified. Gentle application of heat ensures that the honey's natural qualities are not destroyed.
