Located seven-tenths of amile southeast of Battle Ground Lake State Park Red Basket Farm enjoys a bounty of volcanic rock spewed form the depths of the caldera that forms the lake for which the park is named. Our goal is to provide exquisitely flavorful, nutritionally dense produce in an ever delightful variety. Many heirloom crops are grown, interesting varieties are tried annually. The season is late May until mid October, ending with "the Pumpkin Party" just before Halloween.
Pig shares will again be available.
Farm tours are given on sign-up. Pick-up is at the farm, but expanding to Portland. Subscribers picking up at the farm have the choice of a Wednesday pick-up or a Saturday pick-up. The Portland dropoffs are a work in progress. Call for details.
