Red Dog Ranch

Red Dog Ranch, located on the beautiful North Coast of California just one mile from the Pacific Ocean. This 30 acre ranch sits literally on the San Andreas Fault and borders the Gualala River. Seasonal rains flood the river and fields bringing in new top soil each year. Three natural springs supply the fields with pure, virgin water from the Sierras. The ranch at one point was the only supplier of vegetables on the coast for many years, and after 50 years it still supplies the community.

Red Dog Ranch practices only sustainable agriculture techniques and uses no chemical pesticides or fertilizers. The ranch grows over 250 varieties of heirloom vegetables. Organically raised chickens, geese, and ducks free range the fields collecting bugs. Bee hives keep the flowers happy and supply comb honey.

As of 2006, Red Dog Ranch became “Certified Naturally Grown”.
