My Dad, David Bryant started this farm with his Papa, J.M. Bryant in 1941 growing cotton, hogs, poultry and cattle. Now we are entering our 4th generation on the farm and poultry is making a come back. This year will be our third year growing all natural pastured poultry. Our chicken is offered as whole broilers. The price will be 3.60/lb and the expected dressed weight should be 4 to 6 lbs. Also, we currently have grass fed ground beef and free range pork. The beef, pork, and poultry are all natural, no hormones, no antibiotics, pasture finished and taste great as well as better for you than most other sources. We have ground beef as well as whole hog sausage on hand now priced at 5.00/lb each. Smoked bacon is available at 7.50/lb. Six hogs will be ready for processing in the fall. They will be 2.55/lb based on hanging weight, plus processing.Total cost for a half has been running just over 300.00. Our Spring poultry has been processed and in the freezer. We have enjoyed Red Hill Farm's grass fed ground beef and pastured chickens. Both are tender and tasty and reasonably priced. I would recommend Red Hill Farm to anyone looking for healthy meat.
