This festive open-air market on Saturdays during the summer months is a great way for farmers to have a local outlet for their produce. It's also great news for consumers who now have easy access to fresh, nutritious, locally grown food all summer long. There are several markets throughout Hampton Roads throughout the year, but what sets the Red Mill Green Market apart is the mix of handmade arts and crafts, health and wellness experts, educational services, non-profit organizations, pet needs and services, and handcrafted jewelry along with the fresh produce. The concept of a Green Markets has been very successful throughout the Southeast, and with a little hard work, we knew it would be successful in Southern Virginia Beach.
