The food is purposely straight forward and simple and the portion sizes are incredibly generous; especially with regard to the prices, everything seems like a bargain considering the quality of ingredients and the amount of food you get with each dish.
The service is clean, eager and energetic without being intrusive and they all generally seem to be willing to accomidate the guests to the best of their abilities.
The decor is regal and the seats are very comfortable within the walls of this 1920's building designed by famed architect Walter Ratcliff.
A great experience for the serious foodie, kids on a student's budget, families of four, groups of 20-30 and everything else in-between. Adagia is a great addition to the Berkeley dining scene.
